Understanding Narcissism | Sounds True
Hi everyone –
I’m so excited to tell you about ‘ The Understanding Narcissism summit.’
1.
From November 4th – 13th, Sounds True is presenting a summit – Understanding Narcissism, filled with psychologists and therapists who specialize in this area.
The summit is free during that time period, so I encourage you to register to watch the lectures!
What I love about The Understanding Narcissism summit is that it’s not only for survivors (although that’s the focus of my talk). But, Sounds True looks at narcissism holistically and from multiple angles. Each speaker gives their take on the topic, based upon their clinical experiences and findings.
Overall, the summit explores how narcissistic behaviors can impact us daily – At work, at school, via decisions of politicians, online environments, in friendships, navigating about the world, and in our own behavior. They also explore healthy relationships, good psychological well-being, and self-compassion.
So be sure to share this link with as many as you can, survivors and non-survivors, because everyone could benefit.

I will be a presenter on Tuesday, November 12th 2019. That’s the day you can login and watch my talk. It is entitled: ‘The Brain and Moving Forward After a Relationship with a Narcissist’
I will discuss:

(b) the emotional impact of narcissistic abuse during and after the relationship.
(c) shame the survivor may carry during and after this kind of relationship.
(d) a few tactics of self-care to ease the distressed mind during the healing phase.
I hope you find my discussion helpful in your education, as you move forward in your healing.
Here is the link to register and reserve your spot now.
(FYI: Each day two psychologists/ specialists will speak.)
Best ♡
