This area was created for men who have been involved with abusive women, particularly female psychopaths. Contrary to popular belief, the prevalence rate of males victimized by women within relationships is high. Just like women who are abuse victims, men can suffer with PTSD, depression, and trauma related conditions in response to her behavior.

Abuse is not a gender specific matter.

Both men and women can be victimized within their relationship. The key variable is the personality of their partner. There are some partners who have personalities that make them prone to abuse and violate others. Such include, narcissistic personality disorder, antisocial personality disorder, psychopathy, and borderline personality (this is not an exhaustive list).

Therefore, it is personality and behavior, rather than gender that predicts what a person will expose their partners to within a relationship.
